I believe this photo was taken at the turn of the century, for identification purposes I have assumed it was taken in 1901 based on the estimated ages of the children in the photo. The young boy thought to be William Joseph (based on the age relationship to his sisters) looks to be about 5 years old. He was born in 1896.
The girls are a little more difficult to identify because only two of them are in the picture and the age difference between them is not great. The older girl could either be Eva (14 years) or Alice (13 years). I suspect it is Alice. The younger girl could be Nellie (10) or Fanny Elizabeth (7). I estimate her age to be closer to 10 so I believe she is Fanny Elizabeth
The photo was taken in Kyneton by the same photographer as the unidentified school. There are no markings on the back of the photograph. William Donelly was my Great Grandfather.
